Jai Rahul Agarwal is an Indian sports entrepreneur and the Chief Executive and majority shareholder of Guarda Futebol Clube – Futebol, SAD, with a vision to build the Portuguese club while creating a credible pathway between Indian talent and European football.

In August 2026, Agarwal acquired a majority stake in the football company of Guarda FC, a Portuguese club based in the country's highest city. The acquisition marked the beginning of an ambitious project: to strengthen the club on and off the pitch, grow its commercial and international presence, and create genuine opportunities for talented young Indian and Asian footballers to develop within the European game.

The move came at an exciting moment for Guarda FC, following the club's victory in the Supertaça da Beira Interior.

Agarwal holds a BSc in Business Management from Brunel University London (2021–2024), where he also competed with the university sprint squad. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Global Sports Marketing at LaLiga Business School in Madrid, developing his expertise in the commercialisation, sponsorship and global growth of sport.

Sport has been a constant throughout his life. As a schoolboy in Mumbai, he won gold in the boys' U-18 200 m at the SASA Inter-School Athletics Championships (2020).

Today, his focus is on combining that sporting background with business and football management to build something with long-term impact: a stronger Guarda FC and a genuine bridge between India and European football.
